India - Jaipur Day 3

Our driver was super cool. He told us that driving in India only need 3 things - Good Horn, Good Break and Good Luck - otherwise Good Bye :). Delhi to Jaipur took more than five hours. Macam nak pengsan juga duduk dlm kereta. Kat sini, anda dipersilakan utk bunyikan horn. Kat belakang lori mesti ada tulisan - blow horn. At times, saya tutup mata sahaja bila keadaaan mcm nak accident. Alamak... sikitnya. No allowance for travelling and no place to stay. Saya tidak mahu tahu dimana dia tidur. Terasa kasihan. Bersama kami selama enam hari.

Tiada apa yang sangat menarik sepanjang perjalanan. Kami melalui kawasan gurun. Cuaca panas, kering dan berhabuk. Dari jauh saya dapat melihat keretapi. Dlm hati terasa nak experience naik keratapi... tak jaiho la tak naik kan.

Misai disusun kemas dipipi. Masuk paper tu.

Esok paginya, kami mulakan city tour. Jaipur dikenali sebagai pink city. Bangunannya berwarna pink. Tapi sebenarnya tak lah pink. Tapi merah bata.

Kelihatan juga Great wall of India.

Day 14 – A TV show you’re currently addicted to

Love this medical drama tv series. I've been addicted since the first season until now - seventh season. It's a great drama about everything going on in real life. Its current, relevant and full of emotion. Watching Grey's Anatomy is like a roller coaster ride - you just can't help to connect with all of them. And i love the monologues too.

India - Delhi Day 2

City tour bermula awal pagi.

India - Delhi Day 1

Masa mula- mula sampai rasa banyak betul nak cerita. Excited. Tapi sebab dah terperuk, macam dah tak tahu nak cerita apa. Kami tiba lewat malam. Delhi airport besar dan luas. Terasa jauh juga berjalan. Selain tour guide menunggu, super star Shah Rukh Khan juga setia menyambut kami. Sampai hotel, terus tidur.

Day 10 – A photo of your favorite place to eat

oppss.. saya terlebih sudah

1. Berfikir semula. Kita manusia. Bukan robot. Punya emosi. Jadi it is okay to voice it out di facebook, twitter atau blog. Rasa marah, rasa happy, rasa lucu atau apa rasa sekalipun. Sharing is caring :) Jadi saya betulkan semula statement saya. Hidup perlu ada rasa untuk ada makna.

2. Meredith Grey kata
In life only one thing is certain, besides death and taxes... No matter how hard we try, No matter how good our intentions, We are going to make mistakes. We are going to hurt people. We are going to get hurt. And if you're ever going to recover, there's only one thing to say. Forgive and forget. That's what they say.
Let this pass.

3. Kerapkali saya terasa tersekat. Kata-kata saya tersekat di kerongkong.Tak terluah. tak terkata. Saya simpankan sahaja. Sehingga menjadi terlalu berat dan sarat.

Sebak.

Day 8 – Your dream wedding

I’m a realistic person. Honestly. I don’t dream the extravaganza wedding. I don’t have any details and I’m so lazy to struggle to think just for the sake of answering this question.

But I do know that I just want to be with people that matter to me on that day. It surely be a simple and small yet memorable event. Mcm selalu orang kata tu – less is more. Err.. no tepung tawar, bersanding, bersilat, bunga manggar, potong kek segala kind of thing… NO.

But it would be really nice to have a wedding under the stars with soft warm light from the colourful lanterns, some fresh flowers and music (of course). We chat, we dine, we take photos and we celebrate.

Then I’m off for a month for umrah dan ziarah to the nearby country. That’s the Big thing :D

Day 7 – A photo of an animal you’d love to keep as a pet

Can I keep fireflies as a pet? Unfortunately not. They have a short life span. Sigh.

I always admire this little creatures. I love to see them shining and glowing in the dark. Its inspiring and magical. I've went to kuala selangor many years back. Kalau tak silap kampung kuantan. Ia seperti mellihat pokok christmas yang tersangat banyak. I'm impressed.

I do hope I will be like those lovely fireflies - inspiring and magical :)

Day 4 – Your favorite photograph of your best friend

There's one that I simply miss. We have been friends since form 2 (errr...I think). She was there with me when I grew up. Those days when we still young, confuse and not really know how. I did not know what happen to her now. But I do hope she's doing well. Thank you for being such a great friend :)

Sick and tired..

of being sick and tired.

I realised that i have been sick regularly. This is sooo not me. Perhaps age is catching up on me. Sigh.

My body is aching due to the excessisive cough and I am all worn out. I'm exhausted.

I miss my sleep :(

Day 3 – Your idea of the perfect first date

The word perfect somehow scares me. PERFECT. That imposibble. It may means that you have to put all the energy working on it. First date should be effortless. Its about two people getting together to know each other. No pressure. Tak perlu berlakon segala utk impressed. Keep it simple and sweet. Somehow, if doesn't work out, you will know it.

The ideal date should start early morning with breakfast. There's someting about breakfast that i like. A brand new day with the unknown person. Refreshing.

There's this saying “Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper". So I like to go to a place that have many stalls. I get to choose and try everything. Over breakfast would be the initial conversation. I will let him do the talking and I will continue eating and eating.. haha.. I will see how far he's open up to this and does he let me try his food :P

Anything else? Surprise me. I love the unexpected.

Day 2 - Your favorite movie

If I have to choose one movie when days are hard and i just want to curl up under the duvet with box of chocolates, I will choose this. I know it is a pretty old movie. While you were sleeping was released in 1995. When I was still young, green and silly :) I love Sandra Bullock. I love this simple, straight forward and happy ending movie. It's super sweet, it's funny and it's heart warming romantic comedy. How i wish i was lucky as Lucy :)

Overwhelming India

A friend of mine once told me; you either hate or love India. Not in between. It is like the scene in Star Wars when Yoda sends Luke into the cave. Luke asks: What will I find there? and Yoda answers: Only what you bring in with you. So if i'm afraid, i will have scary experiences and if i'm open and trusting, i may find good things along the way.

I don't have much expectation. Been busy working and only have limited time to do my homework. I was warned about how dirty, dangerous and smelly India is. I decided to go with the flow and accept what ever may comes. To be able to experience India and not just visiting.

I spent six days (6 to 12 April 2011)  in the northern part of India - to the famous golden triangle area. From New Delhi (capital city of india) we heading to Jaipur (capital city of Rajasthan) and Agra (part of the state of Uttar Pradesh).

To my own surprised, i didn't miss home. I had a great time with India. India stimulates all senses ---> visual, smell, sound, touch and taste. And oh! all sorts of emotions too :)

India - Delhi Day 1
India - Delhi Day 2
India - Jaipur Day 3
India - Jaipur, Ayurveda Day 3
India - Agra, Fatehpur Sikri Day 4
India - Agra, Taj Mahal Day 5
India - Agra, Agra Fort Day 5
India - Agra to Delhi Day 6

Be strong when...

you are not happy anymore.

I’m hoping that this trying time shall pass, but it doesn’t seem that way. It’s like climbing a mountain. You keep repeating the same thing again and again. But yet to reach the summit. It’s never ending.

You stop at the check point, breathe for a while and then continue climbing again. You braven your heart, put all you have, be the best that you can be to face the challenge.

And yet, you don’t know when you will reach the top or can you make it to the top.

You just continue the effort without knowing whether it’s worth the effort.

Oh God let me taste the sweetness of this hard work. Like the smell of roses in the garden.

Don't let me give up.

Please.
