Of Age, Patience and Acceptance

Why the elderly seems to have the most patience when time is considerably become shorter for them?

Why is that?

Do we really get wiser with age? I don’t think so. What I know is that I’m old enough to know better, but too young to resist :P

With the gen Y coming in, I embrace myself in the older group. I cant help to realise that winning is not on my top list anymore. Dulu, being right is important. I will put my effort and energy to be right, to make sure that i have delivered my message clearly. I have spent a lot of time and energy towards the ‘situation’ and how i feel at that moment.

Perhaps with age – patience and acceptance have come into the picture (i hope). My energy and effort should goes to the things that matter. To play a game that worth playing.

Shit happens.

I just need to handle it and move on. Don’t stay at the ‘shit’ moment too long. It will drain the energy. In my own terms -  ‘Power Saving mode is on’.

A loooong day it was

16 Feb 2013, Saturday

Started with Chinese New Year celebration @ office, all in red colour. Simple yet fun with fortune cookies session and birthday celebration.

After that, continue with table and chair shopping in ikea (best la sangat). Six unit of table and six unit of chair was purchased for office.

Good news is, we have to pick up,  pay and then send to home delivery counter ourselves. Best nya.... not.

Lepas jadi super women, terus lapar. Tapi tak lalu nak mkn, just grab hot dog and karipap. Oleh kerana dah sakit badan, terus ke reborn kota damansara utk massage (alasan je tu kann). Perut tak cukup kenyang, sambung makan laksa dan cendol bawah pokok. Yum yum.

Meneruskan perjalanan ke Shah Alam. Aktiviti seterusnya ke konsert Anuar Zain. Sambil menunggu.. hujan pun turun. Nasib baik sempat berteduh. Nasib baik tak bawa tab dan camera. Kalau tak sekuriti akan ambil dan simpan. Saya lihat banyak juga camera dan tab diambil. Tak dapat dibayangkan mcm mana nanti nak ambil semula after concert. Hanya sticker pelekat dgn nama alamat dan no tel tertulis. Cam senang je nak hilang kan... isk isk...kasihan mereka.

Mesti nak tengok pic Anuar Zain kan... apa kata google je la :D sebabnya...

Hahaha... kecik gila sayup sayup je dia. Sebegitu jauh Anuar dan saya :) Apa pun suara dia memang hebat dan saya baru realised.. cantik sungguh Nora Danish (oh.. saya ketinggalan kan). Pulang lewat pagi. Terasa letih. Sudah lama tidak bermain embun :)

Sunset @ Maldives : Going HOME to reality

Blogging inside ERL, heading home sweet home. Here I present to you - Sunset of Maldives :)

I felt this trip a bit challenging. Dari awal masa mencari-cari resort. At first as usual nak guna hotels.com or agoda or booking.com. Tapinya search punya search jumpa satu travel agent from maldives yg offer good reasonable price. Dah confirm semua segala bagai, dah charged pun my credit card, bilik pulak fully book. Sigh. Then to find replacement resort is not easy. Plus Jan until April is their high season. Nak mintak refund pulak banyak hal dan alasan agent bagi.

 

Dah letih dah mencari-cari akhirnya semua dah kautim.. here we go to Maldives again.

 

Sampai resort on Friday dengan penuh semangat nak bersnorkeling pukul 1.30 pm. Unfortunately cancel pulak due to the weather. Agin kuat, laut pun choppy :( Dengan sedihnya tak buat apa apa aktiviti pun that day. Melepak je.

 

Next day, pagi-pagi pergi guided snorkeling FOC. Ok jugak, tapi habis calar balar lutut dek penangan coral coral yang dah mati itu. Pulang je.. masaalah internet conection pulak yang sekejap ada sekejap tak ada. Boring betul. Petang itu bersnorkeling di hadapan resort. Nasib baik not bad juga. Happy me.

 

On the last day, pagi-pagi bersemangat waja bersnorkeling lagi di hadapan resort. Visibility very good. Clear. But air surut menyebabkan sukar untuk bersnorkle. Tapi ok la. Request utk late check out menghampakan. Maka packed my bag and place it in the storage room. Bersnorkeling lagi. First trip, macam macam nampak. Ada turtle, ada shark, ada boxer fish, school of banner fish, star fish, surgeon fish dan entah macam macam lagi laaaaa. Tapi punya lah challenging sebab kena melawan arus. Kepenatan, maka tidak turun utk second trip. Tiada daya. Ingatkan pada diri sendiri. Ukur kemampuan diri. Jangan ikut orang. Tapi sedih sebenarnya. :(

 

While waiting, ingatkan boleh buat kerja sikit. Internet tak de pulak. TV at rest area pun tak dapat di kesan remotenya. Sigh. Sangap sungguh. I think they use a lame excuses. Kononnya Internet di Male city yang problem. Tapi bila check, kat business centre ada pulak. Tak ke tak berapa betul tu. Maybe the wifi connectivity yang K.O. Oh Entahlah.

 

Bila nak depart and buat clearance for the bill, ditanya pula tentang patung dolphin dalam bilik, kononnya hilang. Aduh. Tak de nya lah saya nak ambik patung dolphin tu. Memang tak ada la dalam bilik. Hishhh... apalah sangat dolphin tu sampai nak ambil bawa pulang heh :(

 

Kat airport pulak, dah print boarding pass segala, disuruh jugak queue panjang panjang utk print tiket. Kononnya the boarding pass yang kita org print from internet tak boleh guna pakai. Isk Isk Isk... macam-macam kan.

 

TAPI, tak pe lah Maldives... I still LOVE you :)

The thing about Maldives is that it's so relax and you really don't want to do anything else. Deep inside my heart I hope time move really slow so that I can have more time, before I have to go back to reality. Sigh.
