Sydney : G'day, its a sunny day!

7-11 March 2013

Day one

Everything went smooth. I hardly slept on the plane but biasala tu kan. I didn't bring any food as such custom clearance was easy.

Took a map and look out for network provider to purchase data mobile. Purchased Optus sim card which I consider cheap. 5 days for AUD 10, unlimited call and internet usage. On my hotspot and then I'm connected. Yeay.

Train from airport to central only few stops but it cost me aud 16. Arrived central station and seperti biasa, terpinga pinga sebentar before setting up my bearing.

Lucky, the hostal is not too far and somehow I'm able to find it. Checked in and refresh myself before heading back to the city.

I was like walking back and forth trying to find light rail train. It says in Central but its actually a bit far. It cost AUD 6 for return tix.

First pit stop is Sydney Fish Market. In hurry cause it close at 4 pm.

Sampai Sydney, terus pergi pasar :D

Hop on to the light rail heading paddy market which similar to victoria market in Melborne. Pusing-pusing tak ada yg menarik hati sangat. Bought few fridge magnet and then heading to George street.

QVB

A super looong busy street. Took some photo at Town Hall, QVB and old Strand mall. Ramai penghibur jalanan di sepanjang jalan. Jumpa kedai Roti Boy. Boleh buat alas perut.

Kemudian ke apple store utk beli barang pesanan penaja. Mula-mula kata tak de. Dah keluar dari kedai. Lepas tu rasa tak sedap hati. Merasakan si pekerja apple store tu yang tak tahu. Pusing balik, masuk semula. Tanya pada yang lain plus decribe sikit the item. Hmmm kan ada pun. Tak buat product briefing kot kat staff. Haha. Berlumut jugaklah di kedai apple yg besar itu.

Hari dah gelap. Membawa kaki pulang. Barula nak rasa sakit kaki. Haha.. ada berkilo kilo jugak saya jalan.

Now resting. Perlu paksa tidur. Paksa lelap kan mata. Esok 6.45 am sudah mahu keluar. Nanti saya edit semula dgn photos :)

and I'm off... again

Praying for a safe flight and oh-sem solo adventure. See you in 8 hours or so Ms Sydney :) Please be easy on me, you too strangers.. lets be friends.

On the other note, it was super duper busy day. Non stop working, no rest and no lunch today. Changing my hats to so many different things and different subject matter.

Alhamdulillah, able to arrive at the airport just enough time to take my breath and bertenang.

Honestly, I'm scared. It's for real. Betul. But gonna be brave and be okay to be lost in the city. It's end of summer and beginning of autumn. I have extra sun and time to explore :)

Of Age, Patience and Acceptance

Why the elderly seems to have the most patience when time is considerably become shorter for them?

Why is that?

Do we really get wiser with age? I don’t think so. What I know is that I’m old enough to know better, but too young to resist :P

With the gen Y coming in, I embrace myself in the older group. I cant help to realise that winning is not on my top list anymore. Dulu, being right is important. I will put my effort and energy to be right, to make sure that i have delivered my message clearly. I have spent a lot of time and energy towards the ‘situation’ and how i feel at that moment.

Perhaps with age – patience and acceptance have come into the picture (i hope). My energy and effort should goes to the things that matter. To play a game that worth playing.

Shit happens.

I just need to handle it and move on. Don’t stay at the ‘shit’ moment too long. It will drain the energy. In my own terms - ‘Power Saving mode is on’.

A loooong day it was

16 Feb 2013, Saturday

Started with Chinese New Year celebration @ office, all in red colour. Simple yet fun with fortune cookies session and birthday celebration.

After that, continue with table and chair shopping in ikea (best la sangat). Six unit of table and six unit of chair was purchased for office.

Good news is, we have to pick up, pay and then send to home delivery counter ourselves. Best nya.... not.

Lepas jadi super women, terus lapar. Tapi tak lalu nak mkn, just grab hot dog and karipap. Oleh kerana dah sakit badan, terus ke reborn kota damansara utk massage (alasan je tu kann). Perut tak cukup kenyang, sambung makan laksa dan cendol bawah pokok. Yum yum.

Meneruskan perjalanan ke Shah Alam. Aktiviti seterusnya ke konsert Anuar Zain. Sambil menunggu.. hujan pun turun. Nasib baik sempat berteduh. Nasib baik tak bawa tab dan camera. Kalau tak sekuriti akan ambil dan simpan. Saya lihat banyak juga camera dan tab diambil. Tak dapat dibayangkan mcm mana nanti nak ambil semula after concert. Hanya sticker pelekat dgn nama alamat dan no tel tertulis. Cam senang je nak hilang kan... isk isk...kasihan mereka.

Mesti nak tengok pic Anuar Zain kan... apa kata google je la :D sebabnya...

Hahaha... kecik gila sayup sayup je dia. Sebegitu jauh Anuar dan saya :) Apa pun suara dia memang hebat dan saya baru realised.. cantik sungguh Nora Danish (oh.. saya ketinggalan kan). Pulang lewat pagi. Terasa letih. Sudah lama tidak bermain embun :)
