Berdebar-debar. Serious. I still can run away though. The medical assistant insisted me to have a bite before going through the process. Oh well. No turning back i guess.

I did it. Yeay! I guess my heart is brave enough to take it. I'm glad i did it. I do hope one pint of my O positive blood do make a difference to those who receive it. Its my birthday gift to you :-)
Out of nowhere, while driving back from office, i have been talking to myself. What significant thing i can do today on my birthday? Suddenly the thought of blood donation seems do-able. I stopped my car at the roadside and start google. Make a quick call to Pusat Darah Negara to confirmed their nearest campaign for today. I guess it has meant to be for me to make a donation. Without hesitation, make a u-turn and make my way to Sunway University. Its raining and almost near to their closing time. But i take the risk.
I do recommend all of you to at least donate once. You have nothing to loose. Please bring along your ic, make sure your body weight more than 45kg, eat some light food and for female, you must not on your off days ya :-)
You need to fill up and sign a form. (They asked you few questions related to your health history and others). They took few drops of your blood to identify blood type and to do some checking. Once you are registered, they gave you a small red log book. Then you are ready!
I did felt a bit of pain but i guess its nothing compared to my headache. You just need to lay down and relax. My blood fill up the plastic container quite fast. I don't feel any side effect after that, but a bit of pain dan rasa lenguh kat tangan - which i think is normal.
I wish i can go back home now and sleeeeeeeep. Hehehe
