Inside out Colosseum

Rome wasn't built in a day

Yes, its true. In this crazy life and time, sometime patience is the answer.

Day one:

Arrived Rome airport around 2 pm after a looong flight. Good weather - hot and cold :) Feeling a bit like soggy spagetti but time is not at our end. Taking bus since its cheaper (€4) to the city centre. Almost one hour ride. Hotel was only a walking distance from Termini station. Nasib baik. Check in and then heading back to the train station. Day time is longer which is good - sunrise at 5.30 am sunset at 9pm.

Take Metro towards Colosseo to see Colosseum from the outside, walk walk and walk towards Fontana di Trevi (make a wish and throw coin) and then walk again towards Trinita dei Monti (Spanish Step). Walk again and take metro back to Termini station at Barberini station. Eat pizza and sleeep.

Vatican Museum

Day two:

Take Metro to Ottaviano For Vatican City - the smallest country in the world - long q but free unless u want to have a seat and meet the pope,  walk to Vatican Museum €15 (the side effect - your neck may be a bit tired), post a postcard and heading to the train station at Lepanto. Exchange at Termini heading to Colosseo. Entrance fee (which quite looong) - €15 which entitles you for colosseum, foro-palatino and forum palatine.

Gila penat. Kaki sudah auto pilot. Terasa sakit. Baru 2 malam. Perjalanan mash jauh. Bought sim card @ termini station from Wind @ €20 for unlimited data package (€6 sim card, €5 calls and €5 for data). Metro cost flat €1.5 one way).

Now heading to Pisa :-)  Ciao

When in Rome

This is it. The moment I have been waited for. Bersyukur kerana dapat merealisasikan impian. Gonna spoil myself with lots of pasta pizza and coffee like Julia Robert :-)

Journey will be started from KLIA - Dubai - Rome - Vatican City - Pisa - Florence - Venice - Verona - Milan - Zurich - Luzern - Zurich - Dubai - KLIA

Gonna be a long journey. Pray for safe flight. See you in 17 hours or so Rome :)

Killing my time at the airport and trying to reflect back the journey.

Syukur everything went well. No major surprises, just small unpleasant stuff that we managed to handled.

I was like doing multi tasking task from co-pilot (which was bad since i do not know how to read map) to dj, chef, information counter everything lah except being a driver.. haha.. not an easy task :p

Having a bad cough now with running nose. Kesianlah siapa yg akan duduk next to me in the plane nanti.

Have been travelling around tapi terlupa about the 100ml regulation :( There's goes my Manuka honey. Lucky dah belasah byk juga for my throat. Oh well. Nasib baik my super expensive cough syrup lepas. Itu pun lepas buat muka kesian habis.

Make a move now. Home sweet Home. Thanks NZ. It has been a good trip.

Kembali ke New Zealand

@ Milford Sound

One of the reasons i have to come back to NZ and complete my previous trip is because of Milford Sound. Being there, I'm speechless.

Two more nights and i'm back home.

Endless Work in Progress

carry me home

I think i'm in the situation whereby the work in progress is endless. I do not know when is the deadline or cutt-off time. Hmm... but time and money are not at our end.  

Teringat kisah masa baru-baru beli rumah. Memanglah excited. Mahu segala yang hebat. But I knew I need to work around my budget and timeframe. So, tidak mengapa tidak berupaya me-renovate rumah segala. Yang penting on schedule dan within the budget. Saya Happy.

Begitu juga kerja harian. Setiap tahun punya closing date. Semua adjustment mesti dibuat sebelum tahun berakhir. Bila sudah di audit dan ditutup, agak sukar untuk di ubah.

Dalam relationship, saya juga akan mencuba, tetapi jika tidak boleh diteruskan makanya juga ada cut-off time. Cut-off time untuk mencuba dan memperbaiki. Jika tidak boleh, lebih baik pilih haluan masing-masing, sebelum menjadi bertambah sour.
