Ask yourself

I love this quote. I think we need to always remind ourself. Perhaps I can create my own :

Before you spend, let your money pass through these three gates.

At the first gate, ask yourself,

is it necessary? 

At the second gate, ask yourself,
can I live without it?

At the thrid gate, ask yourself,
is this what I need or just what I want?
