= Flawsome
I read this from the edge newspaper
In this day and age, it has become more difficult to hide from your failures. Our world is so filled with real-time, tell-all social media that it's better to admit something is wrong and address it in as authentic and transparent a way as possible.
Trendwatching.com calls this trend 'Flawsome'. Definition:
Consumers don't expect brands to be flawless. In fact, consumers will embrace brands that are FLAWSOME*: brands that are still brilliant despite having flaws; even being flawed (and being open about it) can be awesome. Brands that show some empathy, generosity, humility, flexibility, maturity, humor, and (dare we say it) some character and humanity.
More and more brands are adopting this transparent marketing strategy of - " Hey, i'm not perfect, but I tried really hard".
I should adopt the flawsome philosophy too - Flawed and Fabulous me :)
