On Strict Diet.. Ayuh

I need to create distraction. A distraction that can divert my attention from travel. Gosh... I have an expensive hobby.. err more than hobby actually, perhaps lifestyle. So, what is the distraction plan? Of course something that worth it :D

The key ingredient to my distraction plan is determination.. huh sounds challenging kan.. MEMANG PUN. I'm on three month strict DIET.


Before I started the distraction plan, i had found few tools that should help me with the Distraction Diet Plan - DDP. This to ensure I achieve the end result KPI.

1. CASHdiet

I have work out a stretching budget and divided into few categories (living, saving, happy hour,etc). I installed expenses tracking apps to keep up with my cash movement in and out. To achieve this  is not an easy task. Banyak sungguh dugaan. One of the strategy is to avoid myself from going to the mall. Kalau pergi mall.. mesti ada saja nak beli. Then to stop buying online... which is more challenging. Adoi. Rasa nak click aje buy button tu kan.

2. HEALTHdiet

I bought Fitbit Flex to track my daily calories consumption, exercise/steps taken and sleep logged. The device keep me informed about my activity levels and makes me motivated to  get moving. The truth is i'm struggling to clock in 10,000 steps a day. Huh. To date, my average sleep pattern is 6h time asleep, 8 times awakened a day and 10k steps.

3. SOCIALdiet

This means that every weekend I must plan something relevant dgn aktiviti bersosial and engagement. So far on track. Met mack yea, mami. SY & SH and go back to hometown at lease once a mth. Tomorrow, swimming day with the boys and girl.

4. LEARNdiet

Read books and articles to increase knowledge and motivation. I have subscribed to few English grammar channel on youtube to improve my writing skill. Be selective, Less TV especially all those drama yang buang masa je so I can have more time for reading. BTW, I do watch Oh My English tho :p

5. SOULdiet

STOP and take time to reflect and recite Al-Quran. Pray and ask for good things. Talk less about people. Words can hurt (and heal). Focus on responsibility to deliver work. Always think and act as a bigger person. Put company as priority not my own personal disappointment or agenda. Ask around, gossiping and bitching are a waste of time. If word on the street is bad on me, time to do self reflection. THINK before speak, Saying things without Thinking makes me stupid  unwise.


Conclusion
Three months plan already started and I hope by then I had made my life more useful and meaningful. No 4 and 5 a bit difficult to quantify, but if i'm willing to be honest, I will knew the answer kan. Let make this works. All the best!

Go away.. please


This is my sleep chart for yesterday.  See how distracted and restless i am. Been struggling to get my peaceful sleep.

I can sense that you will be visiting me again tonight when i'm sleep. Oh no. Most of the time you kiss my shoulder, bite my hand and leg. You will  secretly whisper into my ears. Singing me a song from hitz top 40 chart. Hmmm how thoughtful you are kan.

But please go away. I need my beauty sleep. I beg you not to visit me today. But since you have been stubborn too, i have no choice. I have to find the solution. I have to ask for help. Erk.. but at this time of late night, how la. I need to make use what ever i have now.


Thank you Mr Mosi-guard. Even i hate how you smell, you will accompany me in bed. I only have you for now :)

Garbage.. what??


These days, talking seems tiring. I feel tired to talk. I felt my days wasted if fill up with talking than getting things done. Do talking makes us better? Err.. i have doubt about that. I have so many things unsolved and talking definitely not helping. Thinking through and make decision will help.

Knowing what it meant by employee, i've submitted a recommendation even though i knew that this will stir some unpleasant consequences. After almost one hour conversation, the word 'GARBAGE' and 'Doesn't Make Sense' was the key items and highlight of the day.

Hahaha.. need to laugh on difficult situations. Too many difficult days, so mari kita belajar buat lawak.

I'm trying to get my work done as i live day to day basis. Things that can wait, will be save as LATER. Umpama kais pagi makan pagi. If i think too much, i might collapse.

I'm on power saving mode. Talk less, Work more.

The Journey: Classy Casablanca, Part 3

Oh.. sambung balik trip yg lepas (pit stop kat down under Perth sekejap).. now back to Africa and enough of Fes, now we are heading to Casablanca. Don't you think that the word Casablanca sounds classy and sexy? I do.


The city is well known due to Casablanca the classic movie made in 1942 whereby in actual fact it does not correlate at all with the city. It was flimed inside the studio and not in Casablanca, Morocco. So why on earth this city deserved to be well known when nothing much can be offered?

One US expat lady has open a cafe similar to the movie - Rick's cafe even though it's not real, just to fool the tourist. Hmmm.. talking about opportunity kan.. smart move.


We went to the famous Hassan II mosque heard from the local that  $750 millions needed to built the Mosque was financed directly from Moroccans themselves.



The Mosque completed in 1993, became Morocco’s largest, and the 7th largest in the whole world. Its minaret, at 210 meters high, is the highest in the world. 


Heading back to the city to catch a long train ride to Marrakech. Had fried chicken and rice for lunch. Yummy.

Panasnya Perth

31 Jan to 3 Feb 2014

I always like the feeling being in Australia. I like how things being done, the day to day life seems efficient and people seems have a balance in life. They work hard during the day and relax at night. Its like 8 hours of work, 8  hours of play and 8 hours of sleep. Hmmm.. should i migrate to Australia?

Short trip to Perth is due to the need to run away from current caca marba kind of situation I'm having now. 5 jam 15 min utk ke Perth. Tak lah terlalu lama. Decided to stay in a nice hotel so that I can taste my hard earned cash. Lepas ni entah bila boleh cuti..

Day One

Flight pukul 8.50 am tapi delay pulak 30 min. Sampai Perth airport, terus ke south area - Bunbury for a pit stop.



Day Two

Pagi- pagi terus ke Agusta lebih kurang 3 jam, for Cape Leeuwin and witness two ocean colides - Indian Ocean meets Southern Ocean. MahsaAllah.






Then patah balik heading Busselton jetty, the longest jetty in Australia which has been rebuilt due to fire. Since its Saturday, people is lepaking. Perth is super hot 36○.. summer time. Kalah Malaysia. Mat salleh ni sukalah berjemur bagai.



Then diteruskan ke Margaret Chocolates Factory. Dok belasah choc yg free for testing. Mahal nya... la hai. Tapi dah jalan jauh, beli la jugak. Sampai lupa nak snap photo.

Last destination sebelum sampai Perth city - Lake Clifton to see the Thrombolitees or living rock. It rare and only few places in the world. Its looks like rock but its not.  Read this :





Sampai semula city, dah nak malam. So rest dulu. Trip kali ni nak relax sikit. Tak nak yg mcm selalu,  intensive.

Day Three

Pagi, ambil train ke Femantle (lebih kurang 30 min) utk melawat lawat. Jalan kaki je pun rasa dah habis pusing. Sebab kecik je pun. Tak de apa sangat sebenarnya. Tapi ramai Malaysian datang sini utk beli souvenir dan mkn fish and chips kat Cecelerio.




Pukul 11.30 am dah balik perth city. Pusing pusing city pulak. Ada deretan kereta lama next to hotel. Bagi sesiapa yg kaki shopping maybe suka kot. Mcm mcm tempat shopping ada. Mayers, Target and David Jones. Saya tak berapa la kan. Beli souvenir je. Gambar pun tak ambil.

Kat sini ramai pemuzik jalanan. I like. Dok layan dia org ni even though hari panas la sangat. Ada yg talented habis. Patut pergi la masuk competition. Berbaloi. This video has a lot of extra props behind :D


Then continue walking to Swan Bell Tower




Waktu summer daylight time panjang, 5.30 am dah terang benderang, pukul 7.30 pm baru nak gelap. So masa memang rasa panjang. Tapi dah tak larat sebab bila hari panas, sakit kepala berdenyut. Makan active fast, pukul 9.00 pm tidur sudah.

Day Four

Flight pukul 4 pm, tapi lepak kat hotel je. Merayap sekejap je. Tak de apa rasa nak di beli. Pulang balik hotel. Lepak sampai check out at 12 pm.

Time to go home... Tidak mahu kembali ke Perth. Sekali je cukup utk cross my bucket list. Maybe due to shopping is not my main interest.. was hoping for scenery and others. Tidak cukup rasa eh!.
